Local granges were organized by rural communities as a social hub, and a place for agricultural education. It was quite common for a Grange Hall to be used as a gathering place for youth programs, celebrations, parties, weddings, square dances, music, presentations, speakers, classes, and ceremonies.
This photo, from the late 1940s, is an exhibit at the county fair showing some of the many products created by the local granges.
