These two photos were donated by the Atkins family. Taken in 1928, they show the King family making firewood in Paradise Valley. Leonard King used a drag saw to cut logs into firewood pieces.
Handwritten on back of one: “Grandfather King cut up wood for the courthouse and the school at Bonners Ferry.”
Handwritten on back of the other one: “1928 – Charlie King, Marguerite, (dad) Leonard M. (Milton) King, Leonard R. King, (baby), Raymond King – on old home place in Paradise Valley in Bonners Ferry, Ida.”
Look at that pile of firewood!
