John and Eveline Ruhberg worked together at their place they called Peaceful Acres. Eveline said, “Some of our burl furniture – pictures were taken by Northern Lights.” This photo shows them sitting in their cozy home with their cat. Northern Lights Magazine featured the furniture in an article (date unknown).
The Ruhberg estate gifted the Museum several pieces of the burl furniture. Other pieces of Ruhberg furniture have been donated by local Boundary County families.
