
This “first science class” photo, taken at Bonners Ferry High School in 1911-12, shows either the physics or chemistry class students experimenting and demonstrating an early x-ray machine. Static would appear inside the glass globe and the doctor would use the goggles to see if any bones were broken. This machine is similar to the Wimshurst machine in the Museum’s Collection
