The Kootenai Tribe of Idaho, Boundary County Human Rights Task Force and the Boundary County Museum will present a free public showing of the 2008 documentary film “Idaho’s Forgotten War” to honor the Kootenai Tribe during Native American Heritage Month.
The film profiles the courage of 67 Kootenai tribal members and in particular Amy Trice, who declared war on the United States government in 1974 to save her people.
There will be a question and answer session afterwards with Kootenai Tribe Chief Gary Aiken, Jr.
