Book Launch Friday July 9th!
I am looking forward to this book. My grandfather, William Henry McArthur and his wife, Ann Eliza were early settlers, bringing mill works by flat bed rail cars from Michigan, to Alberta, Canada and then into Idaho, founding the community of McArthur. He donated land for the McArthur Cemetery. There was a brick schoolhouse I vaguely remember seeing. My father, Delbert McArthur was their youngest child. He served with the Marines in France during World War 1. He is buried at the McArthur cemetery where I will eventually join him. His grave is marked with a military marker. My mother, Jessie McArthur is by his side.
Thank you for sharing your memories , Ada McArthur, your namesake town has a story in the book.
And, Good News! The date that the book will be available has been announced. This coming July 9th there will be a book release event at the Museum. Click Here for details
