1st June 2022

On Thursday, Kathy Sheffler, a retired teacher and musician, came into the Museum and donated a working 78 Victrola phonograph!

She also donated some of her and her husband’s unopened 33-1/3 LP record albums and cassette tapes for the Museum to sell in the gift shop. All proceeds will support the Boundary County Historical Society.

Doug and Kathy Sheffler recorded the LP album in 1980 and the cassette tape in 1997.

The Records will be sold for $5.00 and the Cassettes for $3.00 (including tax).

For more information on the album see this Discogs Link HERE

I just picked up this album at an estate sale in Newport, WA. Signed by Doug and Kathy. I’ve been the listening the last few days and enjoying the works of Doug and Kathy.

      That is great!
We have those cassettes of what I assume is their second album, “Banks of the Ol’ Kootenai”, I can’t find any information online about it. We will have to get them both put in the website “Gift Shop” with names of the songs.

If you can’t get up here to the Museum we could ship one, just call or email.

I would love to purchase the albums or cassettes of Doug and Kathy Sheffler. Are they still available from your museum?
