The latest edition to the web-based virtual exhibits featuring the life of the Kootenai Tribe contains 52 artifacts and 32 photos from the Museum’s collection to create a “Kootenai Pictionary.” Many hours of research by Curator, Sue Kemmis, have gone into translating from the Kutenai language into English the objects and photos displayed in this book. The intent of this virtual exhibit is to honor the First Nations people of the Kootenai Valley, and to learn some words and phrases used by the Kootenai Tribe.

Enjoy this addition to the collection of the Kootenai Tribal exhibit. . .
